Rabbit Wine Openers
Rabbit Wine Openers are the wine opener of choice for people around the world. They are truly a great invention and many companies produce them. Rabbit Wine Openers come in a variety of styles and prices. It’s easy to find cheap effective wine openers at your local grocery store and it’s also easy to spend hundreds by ordering them online. Amazon.com is a very popular online store that sells a variety of Rabbit Wine Openers.
Some are designed specifically for people whose wine preferences lean more toward a $400 bottle of Château Margaux than a $2.99 bottle table wine, the award-winning Metrokane Golden Rabbit Wine Opener corkscrew is a treasure. The corkscrew is made of all die-cast, triple-plated titanium gold– a special alloy that matches the luster of gold but with more durability. Even better for wine fans, it retains the feature that has made the Rabbit Wine Opener corkscrew so popular among enophiles–it pulls a cork in three seconds flat. The Rabbit Wine Opener features two gripping handles that latch on top of a wine bottle. A third top handle drives the corkscrew into the cork and then quickly removes it, just like that. Metrokane corkscrews are independently tested for 20,000 cork pulls; tests assume replacement of the spiral after 1,000 pulls. The design is ergonomic and easy to use, ensuring that neither hand cramps nor failed attempts to pop the cork will trouble the user. The Golden Rabbit Wine Opener comes with a die-cast, titanium gold-plated foil cutter, and carries a 10-year warranty.
Of the world’s leading line of wine accessories, the Golden Rabbit Wine Opener Corkscrew from Metrokane is the “crown jewel” of its Rabbit Wine Opener line. As beautiful as it is clever, the award-winning corkscrew is made of all die-cast metal, then triple-plated with titanium gold, an extra-durable alloy that matches the luster of gold plating. The Rabbit Wine Opener opens all types of wine bottles, pulls a cork in 3 seconds and automatically releases cork. Features include hard-metal gears, ergonomically shaped handles, a patented bottle-cap design and an easy-to-grip finish. Includes a spare spiral and a matching die-cast metal, titanium gold-plated foil cutter. Imported.
VIP Rabbit Wine Opener
The luxury edition Sterling Rabbit Wine Opener with corkscrew and genuine leather-and-chrome presentation case will even wow even the wine connoisseur who (thinks) he or she has everything. Metrokane makes this Rabbit Wine Opener completely out of die-cast metal for superior strength, and finishes it in polished chrome.
Soft black leather grip pads on the corkscrew lever provide a sure, comfortable grip and match the black leather wrap on the elegant presentation case, the base and top of which also feature polished chrome. A chrome foil cutter and extra spiral are included in the case, which handsomely stores the Rabbit Wine Opener.
Award-winning for its innovative design, Rabbit Wine Opener with corkscrew opens any wine bottle in just three seconds. Squeeze the Rabbit’s arms around the bottle, push the lever down, pull up, and the cork is out. To remove the cork from the spiral, simply lower and raise the lever again. Hardened all-metal teeth on the gear mechanism ensure that the corkscrew will open up to 20,000 bottles (when the spiral is replaced every 800 to 1,000 pulls). The spiral, also called a worm, is made of high tensile steel coated with a nonstick finish, and features mini-bearings in the head. Metrokane covers Sterling Rabbit Wine Opener with a 10-year warranty against defects.
Can you believe there is a Rabbit Wine Opener Tool Kit?
The Rabbit Wine Opener Tool Kit is a 6 piece Wine Tool Collection that has it all, including a spare spiral, for wine lovers.
From Stephen: From a design standpoint, this is Rabbit Wine Opener is a very good product. Have a bottle of wine handy on which you’ve already used the supplied (and very good) little foil cutter to remove the foil over the cork.
Take the unit in your hand and look at the movable parts. The overhead lever that swings outward / downward and then is reversed / brought back over the top – moves the spiral corkscrew up and down. To see this, operate the overhead lever with one hand while holding the clamping “side handles” with the other. When you move the overhead handle the corkscrew rotates.
Rabbit Wine Opener Product Features:

The Metrokane Rabbit Lever Style Corkscrew 6005 is a great wine opener and one that I personally own. This Rabbit Wine Opener pulls a wine cork in 3 seconds and works on all types of wine bottles. The handles are shaped ergonomically to fit snugly in the hands, with soft grip pads for better leverage. With 31 precision parts assembled into a powerful high-tech tool, the Rabbit is the ultimate cork-pulling machine. To use, clamp the Rabbit on the bottle and pull the top lever down, instantly inserting the corkscrew into the cork, then pull the same lever in the opposite direction, pulling out the cork, pull the lever further down to eject the cork. 10 year warranty. Comes it its own plastic Clamshell gift box and includes bonus foil cap cutter to effortlessly remove foil caps.
From Matt: I originally bought this corkscrew as a gift, but wound up keeping it, and I admit I’ve bought more wine than usual lately just to play with it.
I have to say, my favorite thing about it is the foil cutter, strange though that may be. The foil cutter is shaped like an oversized bottle cap, and you fit it over the top of the bottle, squeeze, and turn. The foil comes off cleanly just above the little ridge usually found around the mouth of the wine bottle. Very clean-looking and much easier than using the often dull blade on a waiter’s corkscrew.
The corkscrew itself is very nice as well. It is a little bulky, but it is amazing how fast you can open a bottle of wine with it. Line it up, pull the lever forward, push it back, et voila. Forward and back once more and the cork is free of the screw. No gripping the bottle with your knees while pulling at the cork or anything like that; you don’t need to use a lot of effort, just a firm hand.
From Mandy: Coming from a woman who loves to throw dinner parties, isn’t afraid to cook just about anything and yet never quite is able to open the darn wine bottle, this Rabbit Wine Opener is superb!!! I have often poked corks down into the wine out of sheer frustration and this little number opens the bottle with ease in less than 30 seconds. It is amazing and makes a great gift to others or to yourself.
As you can guess, I recommend the rabbit wine opener over all others. Fast, easy and economical. I have never had a failure with one of these and I speak as someone who has opened at least 1000 bottles of wine using various rabbit wine openers. Check around and select the one that is best for you. Don’r forget, they make great gifts also. No one will ever be disappointed when you give one of these to wine lovers you know.
Sip some wine, all the time.
